Well, last one from me anyways.
Today we went to Trafalgar Square and sat with the lions. Then we went to Picadilly Circus and ate fish and chips, well I have Kiev again. This pub had the EXACT same menu as the last one, weird. Then I bought a cute little teapot and some delicious jasmin green tree and we went to the science museum. We had about 2 hours there. NOT ENOUGH! We saw more stuff this time but got kicked out with so much more to see. I wish we would have spend a day there!! This time we saw a plastics display, a materials display, and energy one and then we went to Launchpad, which has lots of fun activities relating to physics. It was the best part of the museum. So much fun. The had a thermal camera that was so cool. We tried to fart in front of it but we couldnt. Then when we left Eric said he had to. Too bad, it would have been so funny. It was fun seeing which parts of us were the hottest. I felt naked though, cause you could see my whole bra on the camera and some lady laughed at me when I pointed it out. If you put you hand on your stomach or chest for a bit then took it off, you could see the heat handprint on your shirt for a long time. ARGH. I wish i could have spent more time there. I know most of the stuff is for kids but I dont care... they were so fun. Then we bought food and ate it at the hostel. The guy are watching a movie, we will probably watch one later too. Then we have to pack up all of our stuff and get ready to go home. I am so sad.I want to stay. Just like my mind couldnt concieve a hollow face my mind cant conceive that I am not going to sleep in tomorrow and then take a metro or a train to go see more stuff. I love Europe. I am going to miss it so much.
Our flight gets in at 4 38 from Toronto if anyone want to meet us at the airport with signs, ballons, cards, and maybe money, that would be fun! See you soon!

A Little Bit of London
Yesterday we slept in late and then went for lunch at an old pub for fish and chips. Except I got a chicken Kiev. It was very good but hard to eat because my right bottom wisdom tooth hurts so much. I got over my cold and my gums around that tooth got all swollen and red and very painful. So painful the first night I couldnt sleep until I took advil. First time in my life I have felt advil kick in. It works pretty good. But not good enough cause it just dulls the pain to make it bearable, but it is still there.
Anyways, after lunch we went to the British Museum, which is not really British at all. It is just a bunch of stuff that Britian has stolen or "received as a gift for their efforts...." or whatever, from all over the world. There is over 7 Million (!) items. We mostly looked at the ancient Egypt stuff and their mummies, cause all of the rest of the stuff we have seen at other museums. Once you have seen 100 greek sculptures you have seen them all. Nothing can blow me away about them anymore I dont think. It was a very good museum, and best of all it was free! Actually most of the museums are free here, which is both good and bizzare, seeing as how they make you pay through the nose for everything else!
Then we had supper back at the hostel and watch half of the old Wicker Man movie (really bizzare) and then Shakespeare in Love, which was really good! We went to be at a resonable hour.
Today we slept in again. We went to the Natural History Museum and saw tonnes of Dinasaur bones ( well actually cast of bones, you will be suprised to hear there are barely any real dinasaur bones on display at museums, they are all casts) and stuffed Mammals. There was a cool interactive place with human biology. We didnt go everywhere cause we bore easily. Then we went to McDonalds for "lunch" at 4 because it is cheap there. Then we tried to squeeze in the Science Museum. It sounds boring, but it is actually very cool. I spent most of the time on one floor and it closed before I got to see everything. They even had a Euthanasia Machine that humans used to kill themseleves when they were terminally ill from Autralia. They has to get a catheter put in them and then answer a bunch of questions on a laptop which would trigger the machine to admisister them a leathal dose of anesthetic. It was actually leagal in Australia for 2 years!! Crazy! Then there was this program that took a picture of you and showed what you would look like as a man (or as a woman if you already are a man). I would make a pretty ugly guy. That museum was too cool. It is probably mostly for kids but we are going back tomorrow because they kicked us out before we could see anything. I can't wait to go back. Joel can't either. They kicked him out while he was testing himself to see if he thought more like a man or a woman. I think the answer is going to bug him all night. He is not going to be able to sleep tonight. Eric did finish it and it said he thought more like a woman. Ha! Confirming what I knew all along!
Tomorrow is our last full day of the trip, and up until now I was so excited to go home and couldnt wait. I am still excited, but now that it is at the end it is bittersweet. I kinda want to stay. I kinda dont want to go back to the same routine. I kinda dont want to go back to work. But I do miss my dogs and my bed and I miss my job, I love what I do so much, I just dont like all the driving and getting home late everyday that it involves.
See Everyone Soon!!

London - Our Last Stop At Last!
So after a horrible day of traveling, we made it to London late.
Yesterday was really rough, for me at least. My throat was so sore and I was coughing lots. We had to wait at the train station for 2 hours before we could get on a train. Then we had to change 2 times before we go to Calais. There we had to take a bus to the ferry terminal. We bought tickets and then paid way too much for the only food available. At least it was something, our only real meal of the day. There Me and Joel popped two Gravol pills for the ferry ride. We played Crap on Your Neighbor most of the way there. I am glad we took the Gravol, cause I was already sick... I like to believe it helped. Then we had to take a bus the the arrival building. Then we had to take another bus to London, which was horrible. It was so cold on that bus. I was so weak from a day of carrying around my heavy bags and being sick and coughing all day. We finally got to London just before 11 at night and then we had to walk a long time to the Metro, we paid £4 ($8) for a one way trip to our hostel and then walked there. I climbed into bed with my Nalgene bottle full of hot water because I had that sick feeling all over. The one where you feel cold and like you have goosebumps all over, but your skin is hot to the touch. The Nalgene bottle was Erics idea and it was wonderful! It helped me sleep.
I slept so late and didnt want to ever wake up. I took some advil first thing and took my time getting up. I hade a shower, which was really nice, warm and good pressure and lots of room, and it helped me clear my sinueses and stuff. After that I felt so much better. Thanks everyone who prayed for me, it definatly helped. Eric and I walked to a super market and bought cheddar cheese, garlic sausage and Ritz crackers and thats what we had for lunch. Then we had a bit of a nap. Well, more like Eric tried to nap and I just talked. Lol. I think I slept a little bit more, for maybe 20 min. That brings us to now, which is 5 oclock. They guys just got back now, I think they went to the Tower of London and I am not sure where else. We have already been there and it is expensive so we didn't go. I needed a day of relaxation to get over this sickness. Tomorrow we will have more fun.

Our Last Day in Petit Paris!
We planned to wake up at 8 am, but of course our alarm did not go off and we woke up at 10:30. Eric and I went to pick up some pastries for breakfast and we were gone before 12. We stopped at lots of pet shops on the way and looked at cute puppies. Come chihuahuas were 3800 euros! Who would pay that? She was also in the cage with a Persian cat, I have never seen that before. She wanted to play but the cat didnt want to. Lol.
Then we went to St. Chappelle, probably the biggest wast of time and money in Paris. Then we went into Notre Dame, which is amazing. It is beautiful. We took the metro to the Catacombs, but they are closed for renovations or something (not sure how you can renovate bones but whatever). We went to a cafe and hand come coffee and hot chocolate and then headed back . We picked up groceries and then made pasta and salad for supper. Then we went to the Lourve and got in for free because we are young and awesome and looked at cool painting, including the Mona Lisa, who has moved since the last time I was there. Now we are back at the flat and then we will play cards, watch Alexander, eat treats and then go to bed.
Home in 6 days!!

WHAT! How many days can we waste here?!?!?
So yesterday we slept in sickeningly late again. Then we went to St. Chapelle and waited in line for 20 minutes before they told us it was closed. Thanks for nothing, second time already. Then we walked forever to the Eiffell tower, climbed the firt tow levels then took and elevator to the top. It was dark. You could see all the major landmarks lit up. Very pretty. It was really cold so we didnt stay for long. Then we walked to the Champs to buy some movies from the Virgin Megastore, my feet almost died. I barely made it back to the flat. I had walked too much in the last two days in the wrong shoes. We had supper and watched Liar Liar ( or Menteur Menteur as the frech like to say).
SO yeah, we didn't do all that much, again!

A much better day in Paris and the surrounding area
Well, to day was definately better, but I am too tired to write lots. Eric and I went to Chateau Versailles today. The other boys didnt come, which was too bad for them because it was amazing! And huge. I loved walking around there. Every palace or castle has been stripped bare but this one is full of stuff. We explored the palace and ground for like 3 hours, and if my feet werent tired we would have done more. I am not sure what the guys did, I will let them post that if they want. I am sure there had fun though. We has stirfr for supper and it was awesome. We relaxed a bit and then walked to the end of the I Champs elysees for the first time. It was long. Me and eric figured we walked about 5 hours solid today, with only one solid meal in our bellies. We just had croissants for lunch. We are watching the extremely lame Hard Rain right now and then we will go to sleep. I might sleep ot because I am wiped, and hungry but I think I will just sleep that off.

A Boring Day in Paris
So after all the excitement of New Years, we slept in late again. But mostly because there was nothing to do today. Everything is closed, including stores, because of the holiday. We has cereal for lunch. We watched TV, wrote in our journals, and I did some laundry. Eric and I went for the walk, the boys walked some where else. We looked for a grocery store hoping a small one would be open. We found a tourist office and got a brochure for Versaille, i think we will go there tomorrow. We found a restaurant that sold baugettes so we bought two. We cooked pasta for supper. Then we played cards for a long time and now we are watching Dangerous Measures. Interesting...
Tomorrow will be more exciting.
Tomorrow will be more exciting.
Bon Annee...Happy New Year!!
Today was almost a wasted day. We slept two hours longer than we wanted to because we are lazy. We made lunch and we didnt leave the flat until three. By the time we got to St. Chappele it was closed. Then we went to Notre Dame but we didnt feel like waiting in the long line so we sat down and judged people by their looks. It was fun. There was this slightly overweight white guy with Merrels, green hiking pants and a camera case around his neck. He had a blonde bowl cut and sparse facial hair and black rimmed glasses. I felt so sorry for him I almost gave him 10 bucks.
We explored a bit then went back to our flat to make supper and play cards. We had fried potatoes and salad with the maple turkey dresssing, with honey instead of maple syrup. Then we went out to the Champs Elysees around 10. There were thousands of people on the street, and there were closed to cars. We paid way to much money for Haagen Dazs ice cream and waited for midnight.
At midnight, the Eiffel tower started sparkling, corks popping, fireworks cracking, and people cheering. It was awesome. So much fun! We stayed there for about one hour and then came back to the flat. As we walked back we saw hundeds, probably thousands of champagne bottles on the streets. It was crazy. We will probably have a snack, maybe play cards and then sleep in. There is nothing to do tomorrow becase everything is closed. If you want you can call us at (00) 33 140 20 07 68. My mom said she ad to dial 011 instead or 00, i think.
Happy New Year! It will be around hours until 2008 for you guys. As Sean said, this is the shortest year of my life!
